The Crown pub and restaurant is situated in the charming village of Granborough in the Aylesbury Vale, Buckinghamshire.
The Aylesbury Vale in Buckinghamshire stretches from The Chiltern Hills and Aylesbury in the south to Buckingham in the north. At its centre is Winslow and nearby is the village of Granborough. At the heart of the village is The Crown pub and restaurant.
The Crown pub and restaurant Granborough has existed on the same site for centuries and parts of the ancient coaching inn still remain. Under new ownership, The Crown pub and restaurant creates a uniquely English destination that combines a traditional pub with an excellent restaurant. The pub and restaurant occupy completely different spaces within The Crown, allowing for a game of International Rugby to be enjoyed with local ales and homemade bar snacks in the pub, whilst at the same time the finest local and seasonal produce are being transformed into a celebratory meal to remember in the restaurant… and neither need know they are in the same establishment.The Crown pub and restaurant consists of four separate areas. The main public bar is a long beamed bar with a fire at one end and a sports bar at the other. The second area of the pub is the wine bar that has a softer and more comfortable feel to it and is ideal for pre-dinner drinks. The restaurant also comes in two parts. The Crown Room is smaller and more intimate, seating twenty in cosy comfort, whilst the Oak Room can seat forty in a high ceilinged, oak beamed room with a large fireplace. Both rooms can be hired for private parties.
The outside area of The Crown pub has a large carpark and a fantastic family friendly garden with a children’s climbing frame, this area can also be used for large private functions in conjunction with the main pub and restaurant.
